What is Latent?
Latent is a management tool for film photography enthusiasts. Track your film stock inventory, record shooting logs, store images, and create contact sheets — all in one app. Available on the web and as an iOS app.
Is it free to use?
Yes. The Free plan includes unlimited film stock management, shooting logs, master data, and dashboard — with up to 100 images and 200 MB of storage. For more image storage or CSV export, consider the Light ($4/mo) or Pro ($8/mo) plans.
What film formats are supported?
Latent supports 35mm, 120 (medium format), 110, 127, 4x5, and 8x10 formats. All film types are covered: color negative, color positive (slide), and black & white.
Can I export my data?
Light and Pro plans support CSV export for all six data types: cameras, lenses, films, labs, stocks, and shooting logs. Both individual and bulk export are available.
Is there a mobile app?
Yes. The iOS app is available on the App Store. Log in with the same account and your data syncs in real time.
Is my data safe?
Images are stored encrypted on Cloudflare R2. Account data is managed by Supabase (PostgreSQL) hosted in the Tokyo region. Your data is never shared with third parties.
Can I cancel my paid plan anytime?
Yes. You can cancel anytime, and you'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period. After that, your account automatically switches to the Free plan and all your existing data is preserved.
