Latent (hereinafter referred to as "the Service") is committed to respecting user privacy and protecting personal information. This Policy sets forth the types of information collected in connection with the use of the Service and the manner in which such information is handled.

  • Account Information: Email address and name (including those obtained via Google OAuth)
  • Usage Data: Access logs, browser information, and IP addresses
  • User Content: Film stock data, shooting logs, and uploaded images

3. Purpose of Use

  • Provision and improvement of the Service
  • Account management and authentication
  • Customer support
  • Preparation of usage statistics (after anonymization)

4. Sharing and Third-Party Disclosure

The Service does not, as a general rule, disclose users' personal information to third parties. However, the following third-party services are utilized in the provision of the Service.

  • Supabase: Database and authentication (Tokyo region)
  • Cloudflare R2: Image storage
  • Vercel: Hosting
  • Stripe: Payment processing (to be introduced in the future)
  • Google: OAuth authentication

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Storage Locations: Supabase (Tokyo, ap-northeast-1) and Cloudflare R2
  • Communications: Encrypted via HTTPS
  • Encryption at Rest: Implemented at the infrastructure level by Supabase and R2
  • Data Isolation: Strict access control through Row Level Security (RLS)

6. User Rights

  • Data Access and Correction: Available at any time within the application
  • Data Deletion: All data is deleted upon account deletion
  • Data Portability: All data may be downloaded via the CSV export function

7. Use of Cookies

  • Authentication Session Cookie: Supabase Auth (essential for the provision of the Service)
  • Locale Preference Cookie: next-intl (to retain language settings)
  • Analytics cookies are not currently in use

8. Minors

Use of the Service by persons under the age of 16 requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

9. Changes to This Policy

In the event of any material changes to this Policy, users will be notified by email or through an in-app notification.
